Remembering Anita Roddick
This week, heartbeat is delivered a
special tribute.
Body Shop founder
Anita Roddick,
who used her international cosmetics chain to promote eco-friendly
practices long before they were widely fashionable, died Monday
night after suffering a major brain hemorrhage, her family said. She
was 64. [

We had the great pleasure of meeting
Anita in Hong Kong a few years ago and we connected with something
she said that day, "if you think you are too insignificant to make a
difference, you've never slept with a mosquito."
Her fire and passion for fair trade and
natural beauty and environmentalism had a profound impact on
everyone around her. We hope you will join us and do your best to
carry the torch and build on the strong foundations she established
in our world. This is how Anita will continue to live.
While we also remember a life-changing
event 6 years ago that
sparked the creation of this newsletter, we ask you to take a
minute and acknowledge everyone special in your life right now.
Search your mental database. Include yourself. Acknowledge your
unique contribution to your world. Feel your own life.
Who are you being today ?
Listen to your own heartbeat. |
